Local Directory Plans ShenValleyOnline.net offers a number of local directories to help prospective clients identify your organization. These directories include Business (both alphabetical and category), Church (alphabetical, denomination, and community), Education, Government, Nonprofit, and Employment. The business and church directories are organized like the 'yellow pages' to simplify the user's search. We offer two local directory plans that differ by the amount of information provided, to better support your organization. The Basic directory listing includes a graphic link to your web site (if you don't have a web site, the graphic will not be active), your organization name, address, telephone number, and an e-mail link. The graphic can be a logo, a photograph, or a sign representing your organization. E-mail links are all encoded to minimize the possibility that spamming bots will capture your e-mail address. The Special directory listing includes all of the information in the Basic directory listing and also includes a second telephone (or fax) number, a slogan or a one-line description of your business, and other information such as hours of operation and links to coupons or a map. See the sample Special Directory Listing below for an example. The Basic directory listing includes one no cost listing change per year (such as your address, e-mail address, or telephone number). The Special directory listing includes three no cost listing changes per year (such as coupon links, hours of operation, your address, e-mail address, telephone, or fax number). Multiple subcategory listings are optionally available as shown below. Multiple subcategory listings are useful when your organization would logically appear in more than one place, or, for example, to link to both the corporate web site and the employment opportunities page.
