Each web site includes a browser-based control panel application
called cPanel to maintain the site.
The control panel can be accessed using either of these
ways:
www.yourdomainname:2082 or
www.yourdomainname/cpanel
You will need your account's username and password to access the control
panel.
The control panel provides the following account management functions:
- File management
- E-mail management including mailboxes, autoresponders, blockers, forwarders,
mailing lists, and Spam Assassin
- Site statistics including Webalizer, AwStats, Analog, bandwidth usage,
error logs, and raw log files
- CGI script and script management
- FTP management
- Site management including backup custom error pages, redirects, mime
types, front page extensions, and more
- Other tools to manage subdomains, cron jobs, MySQL databases, and
more
Rather than reproduce all of the control panel documentation
here, the following is a link to the on-line documentation by the developer
of cPanel. There is also a documentation link in the cPanel footer.
